M PIERRE KOENIG/ORGANON/NOURYPHARMA POSTER PRIZE

The Max Pierre Koenig Poster Prize was established in 1989 in honour of the memory of the Association's former Secretary-Treasurer. The prize is awarded each year to the author(s) of the best poster presented at the Annual Meeting. The jury used to compose of the three members of the Executive Committee retiring that year. However, in July 1993 it was agreed that all Members of the Executive Committee would judge the abstracts. Should one of the abstracts not be covered by the expertise of the Executive Committee, a specialist outside the Executive Committee should give his advice. In 1999 it was agreed that Nourypharma would award two prizes at each meeting, one for basic scientific presentation and one for clinical scientific presentation.
