THE EUROPEAN THYROID ASSOCIATION HENNING PRIZE RULES

1. The prize will be awarded on alternate years to a member of the Association working in Europe or any country bordering the Mediterranean Sea.
2. The prize will be awarded to a scientist who has made outstanding contributions to thyroid research over a considerable period of time.
3. The award will be made by the Executive Committee. The final decision will be made by secret ballot of the members. The prize will be awarded to the candidate with an absolute majority of the votes cast.
4. Candidates must be members of the ETA.
5. The recipient will be asked to deliver a lecture at the Annual Meeting of the ETA.
