
THE LISSITZKY AWARD Rules
1. The prize will be awarded on alternate
years to a member of the Association preferably
for work carried out in Europe.
2. The prize will be awarded to a scientist who has made outstanding
contributions to thyroid
research over his whole career.
3. The prize will be announced one year before the award to all members
of the association
who will be asked to submit suggestions to the Executive Committee.
4. The award will be made by the Executive
Committee. The final decision will be made by
secret ballot of the members of the Committee. The prize will be awarded
to the candidate
with an absolute majority of the votes cast.
5. Candidates must be members of the ETA.
6. The prize winner may be asked to give a presentation at one of
the session of the Annual
Meeting of the ETA.
7. The prize covers travel, accommodation and a fee of 1,000DM.
