MERCK KGaA EUROPEAN THYROID ASSOCIATION PRIZE Rules

This prize, kindly and generously sponsored by Merck KgaA, Darmstadt Germany, is awarded at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the European Thyroid Association. The prize winner is required to deliver a lecture in his/her field of research at the meeting.

1. Candidates should be distinguished scientists but do not require to be members of the ETA.
2. Nominations should be sent to the Secretary-Treasurer of the ETA at least two months before the Executive Committee Meeting, prior to the Annual Meeting.
3. Election shall be by majority vote of the Executive Committee. In the event of a tied vote will be taken by the Executive Committee. The President will have a deciding vote if necessary.
4. Merck KgaA will be informed about the decision as soon as possible.
